About
My name is Asher Smith and my goal for this site is to not only keep people informed and to share my opinion, but also to help my readers not just be a seat in a chair during a movie. I want people to understand that watching a movie is an interactive experience where the saying "the more you give, the more you receive" holds relevance. If I can get people curious about what a movie is trying to say, then I am more than satisfied. You all are helping me as much as I want to help you. My passion is the creative side of a film and I become short of depressed when I'm away from it for too long so I thank you for this thirst-quenching opportunity. As always, if you agree with something I say, let me know, and if you disagree with something, that goes double for you because I want to improve my craft and your feedback and opinions help me grow. If you're feeling brave, then feel free to share this blog with someone or recommend it to someone who might be interested in what I have to say.
Thanks for taking this journey with me.

“Unlike all the other art forms, film is able to seize and render the passage of time, to stop it, almost to possess it in infinity. I’d say that film is the sculpting of time.”
– Andrei Tarkovsky
